In 2019, we celebrated our SXSW in a row with Visit El Paso. Boss David has been thrilled throughout our shared experience because he is an El Paso native, and the campaigns themselves are fun.
I describe, in the 2017 post, my favorite things in and around El Paso.
Visit El Paso selected the following options for their campaign:
Full wraps for 10 pedicabs, from our Print advertising menu.
Driver branding, from our Driver engagement menu. In terms of style and fabric, they provided us with my favorite branded t-shirt ever, which I literally wore even today while out grocery shopping and whatnot. Driver branding: if you want your campaign to live on long after it officially ended.
In addition, our pedicab drivers promoted the Neon Desert Music Festival. They distributed fliers and encouraged people to take selfies of themselves with the Amigo Man 2D signboard, and then post those photos to social media with the #ILoveEPTX hashtag in order to enter a contest for a free vacation to El Paso and free tickets for the music festival.
2D signboards for 10 pedicabs, from our Outside the box menu. Amigo Man is the longtime mascot for El Paso, nicknamed Sun City. Appropriately, Amigo Man is a cheery, sombrero- and cowboy boots-wearing sun. Amigo Man is a very popular figure, and when in town during SXSW he travels and acts as an ambassador.
Their campaign is part of our Visitor’s bureaus portfolio. (We also worked together in both 2017 and 2018.)
