“CONSTRUCT,” a convention unknown to me until attending vendor ClarkDietrich informed us that it was being held in downtown Austin, “is an AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) educational program and exhibition that has the goal of bringing together the different disciplines within the construction industry to help improve the future of the built environment.” Yeah, I pulled that passage directly from their website.
ClarkDietrich sells building construction material.
ClarkDietrich selected the following options for their campaign:
Full wraps for 4 pedicabs, from our Ad printing menu.
Driver branding and Driver-for-hire, from our Driver engagement menu. The pedicab drivers were provided witty t-shirts, and they provided free rides for 4 hours per day for 3 days, for a total of 48 hours. Additionally, the pedicab drivers were encouraged to ask their patrons to tweet #WallTalk and share a photo of themselves during their pedicab rides. We ferried convention-goers from the Austin Convention Center to and from their hotels.
ClarkDietrich’s social media director ruefully admitted that the branded t-shirts were going to be 100% cotton as they were unable to find a suitable jersey-maker in time. He also told me that he wanted to involve pedicabs at the convention because he really enjoyed riding pedicabs in Boston. Thanks, Boston pedicabbers!
Their campaign is a part of our Conventions portfolio.
