CompTIA @ ChannelCon 2017

Posted on

The Computing Technology Industry Association, CompTIA for short, holds an annual convention named ChannelCon for IT professionals. In 2017, they held it in Austin. They (wisely) decided that their convention needed pedicabs.

CompTIA selected the following options for their convention:

Driver branding and Driver-for-hire, from our Driver engagement menu. 40 pedicab drivers were provided CompTIA-branded t-shirts and hand fans, and they provided free rides for 2.5 hours (from 6 PM to 8:30 PM) one night, for a total of 100 hours. CompTIA specified that they only needed 25 pedicabs from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, for a grand total of 125 hours. We ferried convention-goers from the J.W. Marriott to Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden, which FYI is delicious.

A reasonable estimate is that we provided up to to 300 rides.

Their convention is a part of our Conventions portfolio.
