Ya, I heard they used a picture of Luke's 1st Dirt Cab as an example of what a "wagon" pedicab is. You guys can each thank Luke yourselves for not being allowed to ride the games anymore.

Just wanted to post a quote from Chris here that I found on the KVUE website in reply to other comments. It seems to be alluding to a threat of some sort.

"Again. . . You people need a hobby. I just found you something to keep you occupied for a while. You'll know what it is soon enough.

By the way, my "homeboy" in my business partner, I did speak at the commission, and the conclusions you keep coming to are hilarious!" - Chris Nielson

Judge Mike,

The Austin messenger business has been affected in a similar way as the Houston messengers. I agree with you that the benefits to tax payers, and stake holders far outweigh the detriments. We "blue collar" professional cyclists are a resilient group. It is just a sad thing when some of my brothers and sisters are put out of work due to changes in technology. Certainly this is not a new trend. Fortunately there are still jobs out there for people who want to make their living pedaling a bicycle.

Mary Flood, the story's author, left out my comments that I was aware that my Order would affect the messenger business adversely, and that I was very sympathetic to the loss of jobs and the struggle of working people. My campaign for Judge was based, in part, of my sensitivity to the effects of my rulings on individuals. However, I believe that the long term upside of e-filing (tax savings, efficiency, smaller environmental footprint (not just paper, but reduced toner use), productivity, eventual cost savings for litigants) outweighs the downside for messengers, etc. I wanted to make it clear that I am not insensitive to your losses. I wonder what you have done in Travis County which has mandatory e-filing in all courts.

We need a pedicab association in Austin. I would nominate the Heart of texas guys because they are ussually up to speed on rules and regulations. Every other company in town seems to be just a rolling billboard company.

Well, I honestly think he should never be allowed on a pedicab again. I mean this makes the best of the best drivers like my self look like assholes. I mean you never put you passengers in danger, or make them feel like they are when there on you cab. As far as flying down a bridge on a pedicab with passengers good job, retard. But honestly i really hope for the best for the passengersin a quick recovery
