The video linked below shows the consequence of letting customers influence your decision making while operating a pedicab. In Austin during night time hours, our customers are often drunk. It is up to the pedicab operator to make the decisions, not the customer. An experienced good pedicab operator will know the difference pleasing their customers […]

Tom Sachs of New York City has created a fully weaponized waffle making bike. I think the two passengers are not as comfortable as they could be. I doubt that configuring this device as a trike would make any one more comfortable.

In researching the federal, and state laws governing golf carts I came across, and then skimmed over a study published by the National Highway Transportation Safety Association on golf carts, low speed vehicles and seat belts. Unfortunatly, I misunderstood it’s conclusions. Namely that golf carts that typically travel at a speed of 12 miles per […]

Los Angeles’ Transportation Department did do some really good research on pedicabs when looking to regulate pedicabs.
In the following document if you scroll down past some of the antiquated pedicab rules that are currently in place, you will see a great deal of good research of the various cities pedicab programs around the country. It […]

I have been sitting on the fence about Luke Isman’s pedicab. I did not really want to become involved with the brew-ha-ha that was going on especially after I immersed myself in the Seattle accident that resulted in the death of Peter Dzioba. I had blogged enough about pedicab controversies for a while.
I am just […]
