I agree with you that the benefits to tax payers, and stake holders far outweigh the detriments. We "blue collar" professional cyclists are a resilient group. It is just a sad thing when some of my brothers and sisters are put out of work due to changes in technology. Certainly this is not a new trend. My campaign for Judge was based, in part, of my sensitivity to the effects of my rulings on individuals. However, I believe that the long term upside of e-filing (tax savings, efficiency, smaller environmental footprint (not just paper, but reduced toner use), productivity, eventual cost savings for litigants) outweighs the downside for messengers, etc. I wanted to make it clear that I am not insensitive to your losses. I wonder what you have done in Travis County which has mandatory e-filing in all courts.
