Golf Carts in the news.
KVUE did a story on Chris Neilsen requesting that the city allow golf carts to operate as ground transportation vehicles. While I may disagree with some of the assertions, Shelton Green did a good job of showing the issue from all sides. I wish they would have included more of the interview where I described the ways in which Mr. Neilsen has been operating his business illegally.

The hotels, bars and establishments that Chris “claims” he is working for, should be held liable for any accidents and fines associated with running an illegal transportation service.
The AGTD however is uncapable of enforcing rules and regulations.
Last time I checked, I cant just drive my station wagon up to a hotel and say,
“wanna ride? its for tips, but i ussually get 20 bucks.”
And even if i had permission from the hotel, I would still be operating an illegal transportation service.
Someone correct me if im wrong here.
