Interesting story. But yet again we see here an example of bad apple pedicabby's trying to bend the rules. Here in Austin, it is against city ordinance for a pedicab to operate on sidewalks, and hike and bike trails, or in any Austin city park for that matter. Pedicabs per city ordinance, are only permitted to operate on vehicular roadways. Seriously, you wouldn't drive a taxi or a horse drawn carriage on a hike and bike trail, so why would you operate your pedicab on one?
