Pedicab development moving forward
Yendrek3 of MaxPro Pedicab made an announcement on the Rickshawforum.com website that he is taking orders for his “The Egg” pedicab. It’s chassis is already being used in the MaxPro EcoTaxi.
This bike sure does have a nice amount of advertising space, weighs in at 75 kilograms (approx 165 pounds) and only costs 2999 English Pounds. (approximatly $4350 US dollars)
With the dollar so strong these days, European made pedicabs are starting to look more and more affordable. Just be sure to get one while the Dollar is still up against other currencies.

On another note, I hope that Maxpro put their ultra light weight aluminum pedicab into production soon. Two prototypes are currently underging testing in London. It weighs in at 60kg (132 Pounds) with an electric motor and 17 amp hour batteries. Get one built with out the batteries and motor and you may just have the lightest professional grade pedicab available. Picture below:

It was only a matter of time someone discovered acrylic plexi-glass.
