Passenger Hospitalized After Pedicab Collision

(CBS 42) AUSTIN One person was seriously injured after an early morning collision on Congress Ave.

The driver of a small sports car struck a pedicab carrying two passengers at 89 Congress Ave. at 1:26 a.m. Friday.

The two driver and passengers of the pedicab were transferred to Brackenridge Hospital. One passenger, Jeff Uribe, suffered a skull fracture. The driver and other passenger received minor cuts and bruises.

Uribe remains in the hospital.

Uribe had just left Auditorium Shores where he was setting up for the Red Bull Challenge when the collision occurred.

The driver of the sports car did not stop.
